Join staff from Wildlife Habitat Federation, Texas A&M Natural Resources Institute, and Long Acres Ranch for a hands-on grassland and wildlife habitat restoration workshop. This free workshop will include classroom-style presentations as well as in-the-field demonstrations and identification.
Topics covered will include strategic grazing and rangeland monitoring, methods of quail and monarch monitoring, feral hog trapping, and financial resources available for landowners. All landowners – public and private – are welcome. No acreage is too small to have a big impact when it comes to conservation!
Lunch is provided to registrants as a courtesy. Dress for outdoor weather, with long pants, closed toe shoes, hat. Bring water bottle.
