VSP:2025 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo – TPWD Booth
March 4 - March 8
It’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Time! Again this year, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) will have a booth in the Ranching and Wildlife Expo at NRG Park. The TPWD has requested the Texas Master Naturalist Coastal Prairie Chapter to present the TPWD’s Skulls & Skins display, answer visitors’ questions, and promote the TMN program and ways to get involved. All volunteer slots must be filled by Thursday, 2/20/2025!
There will be two shifts per day beginning on Tuesday, 3/4/2025, and ending on Saturday, 3/8/2025, with two volunteers per shift. The shifts will run from 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM (4.5hours), and from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM (4.5 hours).
Volunteers who sign up will receive a parking pass and gate entry pass that will get them into Rodeo grounds without having to pay for entry. Details on how to secure your parking passes will be added later.
