January 31, 2019 by webadmin2

Catch and release fishing is available at Seabourne! Bass, perch, and catfish are periodically stocked in manmade 4 acre Seabourne Lake. Bring your own fishing poles and bait. Park hours: daily 8 am to 7 pm.

Once a year, the Rosenberg Parks and Recreation Dept. and the Coastal Prairie Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists holds a children’s “FISH-tastic” event. Entrants, age 4-14, are grouped into three groups by age, and are  required to bring their own gear and bait. Trophies are awarded in several categories.

Here is a link to this year’s event, to take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 8-11 am.
