Master naturalists busy at Seabourne

The Texas Master Naturalist Coastal Prairie Chapter arboretum team is keeping new trees watered and is making plans for tree identification. The team also plans to plant more trees next year.

Master naturalists recently refreshed the paths at the Seabourne butterfly garden.

New members, Don and Mary Parkhouse, took on repair of the Seabourne rain barrel system at the chapter’s plant bump-up area on the edge of the prairie.

The invasive plant team has been out several times pulling sumpweed and getting rid of invasive grass. That work continues.
