November 6 Bird Walk at Seabourne – First Sighting of a Least Grebe!

On an overcast morning in the 60’s,  Nov. 6, 2019, a group of 25 birders took a walk around Seabourne Creek Nature Park in Rosenberg, TX. The last of the group made the first sighting of a Least Grebe, as it swam near a larger American Coot.

Species sighted totaled 46 and also included a Vermillion Flycatcher, Eastern Phoebe, American Kestrel, and Red-Shouldered Hawk. The total species sighted at Seabourne is now 202.
