Pocket Prairies for Fort Bend Subdivisions

September 12, 2020 by Terri Hurley

Coastal Prairie Chapter naturalist Shannon Westveer gave a well-received presentation at the Quail Valley Garden Club’s first meeting of the year. Her topic was “Pocket Prairies for Fort Bend Subdivisions”. Shannon is most definitely a prairie aficionado and has created a large pocket prairie in her own backyard along the Oyster Creek. She passed on her knowledge and passion for creating your own pocket prairie to the members of the club.

If you missed this meeting, enjoy looking through the Power Point presentation from her talk: Pocket Prairies for Fort Bend Subdivisions.
