Clear Creek – Leave No Trace Spotlight

Leave No Trace (lnt.org) has selected Clear Creek for their January 2024 Spotlight. These spotlights focus on natural areas deserving of community action to “make a meaningful impact that can revitalize and protect these special places where we recreate, enjoy one another’s company, and elevate our health physically, mentally and emotionally.”
This is a notable and important event that Denton Parks and Recreation has brought to the community thanks to the efforts of Carin Zeman, Outdoor Recreation Coordinator, who offices out of Clear Creek.
- Friday, 1/26, 1 – 4pm will be a day of stewardship, with trail cleaning and invasives removal, depending on conditions. Service hours will apply here.
