Clear Creek selected for Leave No Trace Spotlight

Leave No Trace (lnt.org) has selected Clear Creek for their January 2024 Spotlight. These spotlights focus on natural areas deserving of community action to “make a meaningful impact that can revitalize and protect these special places where we recreate, enjoy one another’s company, and elevate our health physically, mentally and emotionally.”

This is a notable and important event that Denton Parks and Recreation has brought to the community thanks to the efforts of Carin Zeman, Outdoor Recreation Coordinator, who offices out of Clear Creek.

• Thursday, 1/25, 1 – 4pm is the invitation-only workshop, Effective Communication of Leave No Trace. Slots are limited, so sign up now at https://cityofdenton.galaxydigital.com/need/detail/?need_id=890602. This workshop is for people who interact with the public as guides and interpreters and all Master Naturalists are invited.  Approved for project-specific AT.
