Dementia Friendly Nature Walks

Come assist with a nature walk initiative hosted by the City of Denton and Dementia Friendly Denton County at Civic Center Park.  Starting on September 21 and each Wednesday through November 9 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Elm Fork Chapter will help to lead nature walks at a variety of Denton city parks for individuals with dementia. The goal is to provide an interactive and instructional opportunity with an emphasis on sensory experiences in nature.
