Join the Dallas Fly Fishers for an introduction to fly fishing. Learn to cast, tie basic fly fishing knots, tie flies and discuss the various types of flies, review equipment, learn about aquatic ecosystem health, and more. Participants will learn all the basics of fly fishing in preparation for the winter and spring fishing season. This workshop is free with paid entry to LLELA.
Participants will need: warm clothing, eye protection (glasses), a hat, sun protection, and drinking water.
All fly fishing equipment is provided. The class is open to anyone age 12 years and up.
