Come join us for the Monthly Meeting of the Friends of Furneaux Creek Nature Trail, Second Tuesday of the Month at 6:30pm.
Educational Program: Scott Kiester, Texas Master Naturalist, will talk about new restoration projects at the Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area (LLELA). Scott is a retired oil and gas geologist. He is passionate about conservation and nature, has an avid interest in birding, reptiles, and amphibians and enjoys teaching and speaking to groups of all ages. Scott is an active member of the Elm Fork Chapter of the TX Master Naturalists. Scott serves as a LLELA Project Manager and is currently leading the Blackjack Trail Restoration Project there. He serves as a president of the Friends of LLELA. Scott will be joined in this zoom program by Tim Trosper, Texas Master Naturalist of the Elm Fork Chapter, and Richard Freiheit, Restoration Manager of LLELA.
