Green Acres Workday – Little Bluestem Rescue

Calling on all those who can dig, plant, or have a vehicle that can haul the grasses:

The Little Bluestem Rescue is on for the month of April-:  we are digging plants from a development site and replanting them at Green Acres 🌱🌱🌱!

We are planning a big event when we will need lots of folks to plant and help out–the developer will have his workers digging and transporting grasses and we will be planting.  Please let me know if you can help–tentative date is April 20, Saturday.

Green Acres (located at 4400 Hide-A-Way Lane, Flower Mound, 75022)

We have lots for you to see and do in the prairie, monarch station and riparian area, all while our bluebirds are busy nesting in boxes in the park.

Please dress for the weather (gloves, hat, long sleeves and pants), bring water, and use sunscreen and bug spray as needed.

We have other opportunities to help with watering on other days through the week!
