Debra Kellstedt, DrPH, Assistant Professor & Texas A&M Extension Specialist, will be joined by Jay Maddock, a professor at the Texas A&M School of Public Health and Co-Director of the Center for Health and Nature. They will discuss what being in nature means and provide the latest research on the health benefits of being active in nature. The presentation will conclude with some practical tools and resources for helping those in our communities to get active out in nature.
