The weather is cooler, but the garden is a mess after a hot summer with little rain. They’ve finished the construction project next to the garden, so let’s sneak in an unscheduled workday to tidy things up. We’ll be deadheading some spent blooms, making sure seed hits the ground with others, getting rid of some unwanted plants, and generally tidying up to prove that native landscapes can co-exist with HOA guidelines.
Bring: pruners, trowels or your favorite weeding tool, gloves, water. There’s a chance of rain, so let me know if you plan to come and give me your phone number so I can get hold of you if we have to cancel.
