Lizard Appreciation – AT

March 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

It’s almost the start of spring, and some of the first creatures we see around our yard are lizards.  We will discuss why lizards are so important to our ecosystem and their adaptations.  How and why do they change color?  What is that pink burlap on their neck?  How do they move in such interesting ways (and how do they move without legs?)  Learn why we should respect lizards and not fear them.

This program is hosted by the Friends of Coppell Nature Park.  It will be held in our Education Hall.  Call 972-304-3581 for any questions.
