LLELA Trailhead Tuesday

September 3 @ 7:30 am - 10:30 am

Event Series Event Series (See All)

The purpose of Trailhead Tuesday is to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors when they are hiking the trails at LLELA.

Duties include the removal of debris and trash from the trails. The crew will trim low branches, bushes or vines that may pose a safety hazard to visitors along the trails. A report will be provided to the City of Lewisville for any major issues which cannot be easily remedied by a small crew, such as, the location of fallen trees, damaged boardwalks, washed out bridges or other trail hazards that pose a threat to the public for remedy.

Volunteers will meet in the Blackjack Trail parking lot (500 Jones St) at 9:00 am.
Depending on the trail and number of volunteers 1.5-3 hours will be the norm.
