Privet Removal – Thrive Nature Park

Join us for a Monthly Community Beautification Event with the City of Lewisville! On Saturday, February 15, 2025, we’re gathering at Thrive Nature Park to help restore our natural spaces by removing invasive privet plants. This is a great opportunity to give back, enjoy some fresh air, and make a positive impact on our local ecosystem. All tools and supplies will be provided; just bring your energy and willingness to get your hands a little dirty! Volunteers of all ages are welcome. Let’s work together to keep our parks beautiful and thriving!
Meeting location is Thrive Nature Park at 8 a.m. Park at Thrive Rec Center and use the pedestrian crossing across Valley Parkway to get to the park. Stay for as little or as long as you can.

This is a public event that is part of the city’s ongoing 3rd Saturday Beautification program. Registration allows the city to plan the workload and contact volunteers in case of inclement weather.
