Volunteers are needed at the Nature Centers at Ray Roberts Lake State Park, both the Isle Du Bois and Johnson Branch units.
Our duties are to welcome visitors, help them to enjoy and learn from the indoor exhibits and activities, and take care of the materials as well.
If you are not already a volunteer at the Nature Centers, we welcome you! If you are interested but have not attended orientations and training for the Nature Centers, we will be glad to provide an overview with experienced volunteers and the State Park Interpretive Rangers. There are two shifts available both Saturday and Sunday: 9am-Noon and Noon-3pm, or you can choose to work both shifts in a day.
