Please join us on ZOOM for a discussion of the reptiles and amphibians found in the northern counties of the Blackland ecoregion.
Michael Smith will talk about their natural history and will highlight some representative species, including some of the salamanders, frogs and toads, turtles, the American alligator, lizards and snakes.
Michael Smith has a nearly lifelong fascination with reptiles and amphibians. He has volunteered and worked in museums and zoos (though his career is in psychology) and spent many days in the field throughout Texas.
