Texas Watershed workshop – AT

On August 13th, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and City of Plano will host a free Texas Watershed Steward workshop in Plano. Water quality related to Rowlett Creek, along with land and watershed management, will be discussed. Topics will include water quality, water quality law, agricultural and urban best management practices, hydrology, and others. The event and its available continuing education credits are free and open to the public. Preregistration link provided below. The professional continuing education credits offered are applicable to, but are not limited to, Texas Department of Agriculture private pesticide license holders (3 general CEUs), professional engineers, AICP certified planers, professional geoscientists, certified teachers, certified floodplain managers, certified crop advisors, and select TCEQ occupational license holders.

The Texas Watershed Steward workshop will take place from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 13th at the Nature & Retreat Center, located at 5901 Los Rios Blvd., Plano, Texas 75074. Click HERE for Plano map.
