The Equilibrium of Soil, Soil Biology, and Plant Adaptations
Taylor Garrison

The Unknown of the Prairie will examine the importance of soil, fungi-plant-bacteria interactions, cover prairie vegetation and management, and how plants have adapted to survive in North American prairies.

 

Taylor Garrison is a district biologist for TPWD assigned to Dallas, Kaufman, Ellis, and Navarro Counties. Growing up in Corpus Christi, TX and subsequent time at his family ranch in Uvalde County, Taylor developed a passion for wildlife, hunting, and fishing at an early age. During his 8 year career with TPWD, he enjoys working with private landowners to make the most of wildlife habitat. Skillsets include plant ID, habitat management, application of prescribed fire, and conducting landowner workshops and field days.
