Colorado River Clean Up

Join us for our 2nd Colorado River Loop Cleanup on Wednesday, 11/5/25, at 9 am, launching from the Colorado River Boat Launch below the north side of the Hwy 71 bridge.

This 6.5-mile loop cleanup coincides with the Adopt-a-Highway project led by Wanda Anglin, at the same time, same location.

Expect 4-6 hours on the water, reaching Beeson’s Park between 1-3 pm. We’ll keep a close eye on weather and river conditions up to launch to ensure everyone’s safety.

What’s provided: Canoes, paddles, life jackets, cleanup supplies and first aid kit

What to bring: Water, snacks, sunscreen and appropriate river clothing

What to know: Activity includes getting in and out of the canoe to grab trash on river banks along the way

Limited to 8 paddlers due to safety/supplies (first come, first served).
