TMN Volunteer Opportunity: Indian Creek Nature Trail workday

Workday this Thursday Feb. 19 at Indian Creek Nature Area in Burton could use 10 volunteers——new and seasoned.  9-11am or come early or stay late.

Can you lop small ligustrum —- hundreds of them—-like our new Pres Jeff did last month?  Winter is the best time to kill those little green guys!

Painters, we need you!  Green sign, red swing and beige picnic table!

No fires, but we can still cut and stack on the woodpiles.

The regular workday for this project is the third Thursday of each month from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Volunteers maintain the pollinator bed and nature trail. Contact project leader Ann Ray for more details.

Bringing a weed-eater, rake, or chainsaw would help you get the most bang for your buck, but just willing hands and gloves will do.
