Winedale Historic Complex workday

We’re still working to spruce up the Gideon Lincecum monument area before the March Chapter meeting on the 21st, so we’ll meet there.  We will be planting eleven one-gallon plants, so please bring a shovel and hand tools.  If you have a couple of gallon jugs of water that you can bring to water them after planting, that would be helpful, since there’s no water source nearby.

Time permitting, we will also work in the pollinator garden in front of the Visitor’s Center if it’s accessible.

A special thanks goes out to Denise Turner for donating three Bluebird boxes, and to Tom Shaughnessy for donating a bee house- we’ll be installing those.  I’m also very grateful to Sam Walton for leading the February workday in my absence.
