Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery and Prayer Garden

October 13, 2014 by Mary Ann Melton

All,

We will be starting our work days at OLOTR starting this Tuesday, October 14 from 8-11:30 ish with lunch afterwards. We can evaluate it on a month by month basis but I would expect that we will go at least through mid Nov before it gets to cold.

This week we have close to 100 plants that we need to get in the ground and we will start work on the repairs to the Zuni bowl.

Flo and Leo have been working hard in support of our efforts and you will notice improved soil catchments and new soil in the butterfly garden. I was out there last week and there are lots of things in bloom. I think their help with watering this year paid off.

As some of you may know Cindy had rotator cuff surgery this past week, she will be in attendance but under no circumstances is she to do any work. I will have duct tape if needed 😉

Come on out, mornings are cool, scenery is beautiful, and you are needed.

Thanks
Lori
