River Ranch County Park Workday

January 5, 2018 by mbond

Date: 01/20/2018 (Sat.)

Time: 8:00 a.m. at the gate at 1751  CR282, Liberty Hill.  We should be finished by 12:00pm

Location: River Ranch County Park, 1751 County Road 282, Liberty Hill, Texas.

Wear: work clothes, preferably long pants, thick shoes or boots, gloves, hat.

Bring:  insect repellant, water, snacks  and a good attitude

Mr. Gomez has requested our help  to open a new trail which will run from the porcupine hill area down to the river.  In this project we will be breaking new ground.  We can use 12 Master Naturalists.  Everyone should come dressed for the weather. Extra chainsaws, trimmers, loppers, and edger’s welcome.  Naturalists bringing chain saws must were protective gear as appropriate.  We will me at the gate NLT 8:00am and work until 12: noon.

An inclement weather date has not been set for this project . . .

This will be a fun project, the work interesting and the scenery wintery.

Remember: Safety First, second, and always.
