Garey Park Workdays

March 24 

Garey Park Workday, March 24, 8:00 until we get finished.  The March 3 workday was only attended by three GWMN members.  We had the help of three Georgetown Parks employees and were able to make a great deal of progress.  The workday on the 24th will most likely be the final one until September as I will be traveling April through August.  I would like as many to show up as possible so that we can complete the construction of the trail along the river.  Tools needed will be loppers and gloves.  The parks department will furnish weed eaters, chain saws and mower.  Please make plans to attend this important workday.  Be sure to bring water and snacks, insect repellant and sunscreen.
