Great news Master Naturalists!
This season’s Trail work days have been posted on the Friends of Balcones website. Workdays will be on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 8:00am – 12:00pm. All of the work days will be for new trail building at Warbler Vista. We will meet in the parking lot by the rest rooms. The dates are as follows:
Oct 12th
Nov 9th
Dec 14th
Jan 11th
Feb 8th
March 14th
April 11th
There will also be opportunities to work some weekdays. The weekday work will be for maintenance of existing trails where needed. We will schedule these dates later after the temperature cools down a little. If you are interested in weekdays please let us know.
If anyone needs to sign up you can do so on the Friends of Balcones web site or just send me an email. We intend to send out trail workday reminders a few days ahead of work days. If you are not interested in receiving these emails and would like to be taken off distribution, please let us know.
