Event Description:
Learn to create a host-plant haven for the larvae of Texas butterflies and moths. Explore why native plants are essential to healthy ecosystems, the role of host plants in a garden, and how these insects find plant species upon which to lay their eggs.
Registration includes a copy of the new book by instructors/authors Lynne and Jim Weber, “Native Host Plants for Texas Butterflies: A Field Guide.” Materials may be mailed to registrants living outside of Austin city limits for an additional fee.
Space is limited and registration is required. This class will take place online via Zoom.
Participants will receive an email with the link for the Zoom meeting prior to the event. Make sure you have Zoom installed and set up to participate.
