Join the Texas Section Society for Range Management for a ranch tour of a classic West Texas family ranching operation and award winning stewardship lunch is included.
Enjoy being out on rangeland as we tour Dry Creek Ranch in the much-loved rugged and pastoral terrain of the Edwards Plateau Ecoregion of Texas. Attendees will explore pastures where ongoing practices of prescribed fire, mechanical, and chemical management have impacted and improved the landscape for diverse livestock and wildlife species.
Dry Creek Ranch was the recipient of the 2020 TSSRM, TSCRA, and TXGLC Outstanding Rangeland Stewardship award and is competing for the 2021 Environmental Stewardship award from NCBA.
