Event Description:
Bird banding is a specialized data-gathering method used by ornithologists across the world and is often misunderstood by the general public. In this talk, Yvette will explain a little bit of the history and benefits of banding, then showcase some of the techniques and tools, as well as discuss training and opportunities for those interested in taking a deeper dive into banding.
