Transforming a home garden into a Wildscape

Event Description:
Lauren Simpson is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Houston Law Center. When she is not teaching Lawyering Skills and Strategies, she is transforming her Houston home gardens into a Certified Wildlife Habitat (National Wildlife Federation), a Monarch Waystation (Monarch Watch, Waystation No. 10925), and a Certified Butterfly Garden (North American Butterfly Association). She spends her “free time” promoting pollinator conservation and wildscaping through state and local presentations, events, articles and interviews. Ms. Simpson is an active member of the Native Plant Society of Texas (Houston Chapter), the North American Butterfly Association (Butterfly Enthusiasts of Southeast Texas Chapter), and her neighborhood gardening group.
