Event Description:
Join a park ranger for this introduction to birding and a guided hike to practice your new skills.
No experience required. All ages are welcome.
Meet in front of the HQ building. Hiking distance will be approximately 1.6 miles. Trail will include rocky and uneven walking surfaces.
Bring a water bottle and sun protection. Wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress for the weather. You can bring your own binoculars if you have them.
Cost: This program is free with admission ($6 per person 13 years and older, free for visitors 12 years and younger; free with Texas State Parks Pass).
Registration is not necessary.
