Event Summary:
Learn how to lead a bird walk from the best!

Event Description:
Leading a bird walk is one of the best ways to share your passion for birds with others. Everyone who leads their first bird walk feels unqualified. You can lead a successful bird walk even if you are not an expert birder. Identifying birds is only one part of having a bird walk that’s fun and educational for everyone. It also requires good social skills and the ability to make adjustments based on the needs of the group. BAS members Patsy Inglet and Sherie Gee will offer an in-person workshop in the Friedrich Wilderness Park classroom, followed by a walk on the trails.
