Event Description:
Please join us for the October chapter meeting of the Native Plant Society of Texas Kerrville. Today we will feature a screening of “Hometown Habitat” from the Meadows Project. Hometown Habitat, Stories of Bringing Nature Home, is a 90-minute environmental documentary focused on educating about how and why native plants are critical to the survival and vitality of local ecosystems with a goal to inspire people to plant native plants, providing a call to action to change our garden choices to include native plants. Business meeting begins at 1:30 and the mayor will come to present us with the proclamation for Native Plant Week in October. Presentation begins at 2 pm.
