Event Summary:
This will be a fun, interactive, hands-on opportunity in the field. Participants will look at several structures (and build one or two) designed to reduce erosion, enhance soil moisture and land productivity, as well as mitigate drought and flooding stressors.
Event Description:
Registration includes snacks, drinks, printed educational materials, and learning from one of the top experts on the topic.
Dr. Mollie Walton, a restoration ecologist with deep ranching-roots in Hamilton County, has supported land stewards across the West for decades to restore productivity to their rangelands. In addition to learning from Dr. Walton, participating land stewards will also have the opportunity to share their own stewardship experiences and lessons learned with one another.
