Learn how to propagate milkweeds to transplant into a Monarch Waystation or Pollinator Garden.
Event Description:
This will be a fun hands on workshop to learn about the plants that monarch butterflies depend on, Monarch Waystations, Pollinator Gardens and how to propagate and grow milkweeds. Participants will leave with everything needed to get milkweed growing for planting and gardens in the Spring.
Cathy Downs has been a Texas Master Naturalist since 2005. She has traveled across Texas educating adults and children about monarch butterflies, gardens and native plants.
Gracie Waggener has been a member of the Hill Country Master Naturalist Chapter since 2007, and has worked on numerous gardens promoting native plants, nature education and many projects across the State.
Cost: $10.00 Suggested donation
