Event Summary:
Presenter will highlight the successful management practices of the native white tail deer at KWMA and the challenges exotic species and overpopulation present.

Event Description:
Mr. Reitz will use PowerPoint and artifacts to share the results of management practices at KWMA focused on deer health and discuss issues related to introducing non-native game into the Hill Country. During a tour participants will view the facilities and see the results of these efforts. Mr. Reitz will highlight volunteer contributions and opportunities as well as best practices for class members engaged in land management.

This training is limited to participants in the New Class members, their instructors, and mentors.

Cost: no charge
