The Texas Wildlife Association and the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will be holding a “Small Acreage: Big Opportunity” workshop for landowners with small-acreage properties on May 20 in New Braunfels.
Event Description:
The workshop will be from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Texas Wildlife Association headquarters, 6644 FM 1102, in New Braunfels. Registration is $80 and people can visit https://tinyurl.com/sabocomal to register.
The registration fee includes lunch, program materials and exclusive access to online presentations and resources.
During the workshop, participants will learn how to set goals for their land, the newest trends in small acreage land and how to use iNaturalist.
Other topics include learning about how to earn the 1-d-1 wildlife tax valuation and cost-share opportunities. Participants also will be able to learn how to use a web soil survey and see small acre management in action.
