Event Description:
Kendall County Friends of the Night Sky will provide educational slide show, discussion and question and answer to follow re promotion of dark sky preservation. Telescope operators will discuss and educate re benefits of dark sky and Bortell scale

Dark sky education and telescope star party to promote dark sky initiative at Kreutzberg Canyon natural area in Kendall County.

There will be a dark sky presentation just after 7:30 at the pavillion adjacent to the KCNA parking lot. After the presentation, we will walk down to the riverside field for telescopes and stargazing.

Presenter Edward Rogers is Kendall County Friends of the Night Sky coordinator and educator. He has given multiple presentations to area. Member Texas of silver haired legislature
