Event Description:
Pruning trees, shrubs, and perennials is one of the least understood and most abused of all gardening chores. Once you cut it off, there’s no way to put it back if you’ve made a mistake. Do you know when to prune, how to make proper cuts, or shaping for a natural and beautiful look? What does it mean when someone says ‘cut back your perennials’, especially when to do it and how much? Join Bexar County Master Gardeners as they help you understand the what, when, and how of pruning, in order to keep your landscape looking great! Master Gardeners will be available at the end of the workshop to answer gardening questions.
