Event Description:
Join us for our Virtual Fall Birding with Extension Seminar!
Unlike our summer series, our fall seminar series will be a single evening of educational fun. Due to many human-driven factors, bird populations are on the decline across the globe, and if that’s not enough, many of these bird species’ ranges are receding as well. However, there are some bird species that are surviving and dare we say thriving despite human-driven factors.
Join us as our speakers discuss how birds are adapting and expanding their ranges and how people are helping to document range changes across different species.
The funds raised through our virtual birding seminars support our youth program, Rio Diablo Birding Camp.
The virtual event link will be distributed via email 24 hours prior to the event’s commencement. For late registrations made after this 24-hour window, a final email containing the link will be sent on November 29, 2023, at 6:00 p.m.
Cost: $15.00
