Learn about the finer points of Riparian Management and the Native flora that comprises this unique system.
Event Description:
The Winter Riparian Workshop is a great way to learn more about the proper functioning of the Riparian Zone now that everything is dormant. Gain a better understanding of local flora, growth habits, management techniques and wintertime identification. This offering will take place in the field so be prepared to move through the woodlands.
We will meet briefly in the Cibolo Center for Conservation Auditorium before heading to the Riparian Zone. It is January so please check the weather. 140 City Park Road in Boerne, Texas. There is plenty of parking and restroom facilities. Water and coffee will be provided prior to the hike into the woods.
