Event Description:
Join our class to enhance your birding skills, learn bird categorization, and recognize common birds. Gain insights on observation and essential tools for fieldwork.
Tom and Patsy, your guides, will share tools, tips, and techniques to build your birding skills. Learn how to find and identify birds with practical field practice.
The class includes 2 hours of instruction and 1 hour of guided field practice. Bring binoculars and a bird field guide. Dress appropriately: long pants, dull colors, walking shoes, and a hat. Consider bringing insect repellent and sunscreen.
Note: This class is intended for adults due to the nature of the study and work.
About your Presenters: Tom & Patsy Inglet are avid Audubon birders, Texas Master Naturalists and proud bird nerds working to conserve the birds they love by engaging more people in birding
