Event Summary: Join Craig Hensley for a Beginners INaturalist hands on Training at Crownridge Canyon, San Antonio

Event Description: Introduction to iNaturalist in the field with hands on practice. Are you new to iNaturalist? This is the walk for you! We’ll discuss how to use iNaturalist, download the app, join a project, make observations as well as answer any questions you have about the upcoming City Nature Challenge. The walk itself will be short, our time will be spent learning INaturalist and practicing what we learn. Please come with a fully charged phone. This AT will be lead Craig Hensley, Texas Nature Trackers Biologist with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

Come with a fully charged phone, we’ll be making observations!
Arrive 15 minutes early. (no later than 7:45 am)
Bring water and sunscreen.
This event is entirely outside and will be cancelled if there is inclement weather or unsafe conditions exist. Notification of Cancellation of the event will be via email to those registered via Eventbrite. You are also welcome to contact Jane directly with any questions.
