Hill Country Alliance is partnering with Alamo Resource Conservation & Development Area to host a FREE workshop in Lakehills, TX (Bandera County) focused on assisting local farmers, rancher and landowners.

12:30 pm Opening Remarks ~ Peggy Hollin, Alamo RCD Outreach Director, Topic: Overview of Alamo RCD
mission and programs.

12:45 pm Grazing Management & Soil Health~ Kason Haby, Certified Professional in Range Management,
Topic: Overview of the central tenets of grazing management and discuss how grazing management can influence soil health.

1: 45 pm NRCS Programs and Funding opportunities ~ Rebecca Svoboda, District Conservationist for Bandera County NRCS, Topic: Overview of current NRCS Programs and Funding opportunities

2:15 pm Land Stewardship for Watershed Health ~ Rachel Seets, Landowner Outreach and Stewardship
Manager, Hill Country Alliance, Topic: Hill Country watersheds and riparian systems, their function and
importance, degradation factors and stewardship techniques.

3:15 pm Water Management & Drought Conditions in Bandera County ~ Dave Mauk, Bandera County River
