Permaculture presentation and demonstration of a permaculture activity (compost tea).
Event Description:
This is part of a larger event at UBarU – our Spring Bioblitz and Worker Bee Weekend. Saturday activities include a presentation on native grasses and nature walk identifying grasses on campus at UBarU. Then after lunch Dawn Newcomer will present a permaculture overview followed with a demonstration of making compost tea and assisting with its application at UBarU. .
Attend part or all of the event. To attend just the Permaculture presentation and demonstration, register for the day rate. Lunch is included. Presentation is at 1pm Saturday 4/20 after lunch at 12:00.
About the Presenter: Dawn Newcomer has a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) earned after taking a course taught by the preeminent permaculture designer and teacher, Geoff Lawton, international director of the Permaculture Research Institute (PRI) in Australia. She used UBarU as her final design project
