Event Description:
This event is a tour of the Wastewater Treatment Facility in Fredericksburg. You will learn the pros and cons of the wastewater treatment process, how, when and why it is released into the environment, and alternatives to discharge. This training is sponsored by the Pedernales River Alliance and the City of Fredericksburg.
Wear a hat as this is an outdoors training. It is best if the hat has a chin tie so you do not lose it if windy. Wear sunscreen and sensible walking shoes.
