Event Description:
Ready to make your yard, garden or land a paradise for native wildlife? Learn how to use native plants to support robust ecosystems and provide habitat for birds, butterflies, bees and more. Discover how groundcover, water features and lighting affect livability. During this three-part series, participants will learn how ground cover, water features and lighting affect livability for wildlife.

All levels of gardeners welcome. No prior experience necessary.

This class will take place online via Zoom. Registrants will receive an email with the link for the Zoom meeting prior to the event. Make sure you have Zoom installed and set up to participate.

About the presenter: Ryan Fleming is an ecological landscape designer and consultant who has been working with native plants for over thirty years. Ryan specializes in native plant designs focused on wildlife habitats including pollinators, birds and other native wildlife. A passionate teacher, with a strong educational background in biology with a concentration on native wildlife and ecology, Ryan volunteers with local environmental entities, and has served as a member of the City of Austin Urban Forestry Board for 8 years.
