Join Moderator Tara Bushnoe (Upper Guadalupe River Authority)D and panelists Deb Youngblood (Pedernales River Alliance & TMN Water Specialist), Margo Denka (Friends of Hondo Canyon) and Annalisa Peace (Great Edwards Aquifer Alliance) for a discussion of the water resources and the protection and management efforts in the Texas Hill Country. Topics to be discussed include:
*ground water supply (how is its decrease measured and what the numbers tell us)
*water quality threats due to land use changes (wastewater discharge and runoff from rain)
*Solutions focused on
*watershed protection strategies (macro system planning, who is in charge of what water and points of interception)
*regional efforts to impact decision-making to protect our waters
